Humly tutors provide support across a wide range of subjects and levels, including primary, secondary, GCSE, and A-Level. This also includes SEN students with various needs and requirements. Locations for tuition can be within the student’s home, a library/community centre or online.
All Humly students require an EHCP and funding approvals from a local authority or school. Humly do not take private tuition requests. Essential information is required from local authorities/schools plus educational professionals regarding student’s strengths, gaps in understanding, and learning goals.
Humly tutors then create a personalised learning plan that targets key areas for improvement while reinforcing what the student already does well. Lessons can include homework support, exam preparation, revision techniques, and the development of core academic skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management.
Our tuition service is built on professionalism, safety, and quality. All tutors undergo a thorough recruitment and safeguarding process, including enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks, identity verification, reference checks, and qualification reviews.
Tutors receive annual safeguarding guidance and follow clear child-protection policies. We also ensure compliance with data protection regulations such as UK GDPR, maintain appropriate policies for safeguarding and complaints handling, and follow best practices to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment, as per APSCo guidelines.
