Greater Manchester Tutor with Qualified Teacher Status (English and/or Maths)

The Tutor Trust is hiring tutors with Qualified Teacher Status to deliver English and Maths tuition across Greater Manchester. Working on a self-employed basis, tutors provide targeted support to small groups of up to four (occasionally six) pupils across SATs and GCSE levels within schools, colleges, and Alternative Provision settings.

Sessions take place strictly during the school day between 8am and 4pm on weekdays, with typical assignments spanning up to 15 school weeks. Candidates must hold QTS, be at least 18 years old, and have the ability to travel to school sites across the region. Pay is £20 per hour for planning and session delivery, supported by online QTS tutor training and placement coordinator oversight.
